I am originally from a little town in southwestern Pennsylvania called Canonsburg which is located about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh. I have recently finished my 6th year at Virginia Tech and graduated with a bachelors degree in Architecture which is the #1 architecture program in the United States.  I also have spent the past 5 years playing hockey for the Hokies. My dad works for Lucas Systems and my mom for CLT Efficient Tech Group. I have 2 sisters, Carly and Brittany. Carly works at Lucas Systems with my dad and Britt will be coming to Virginia Tech in the Fall (Let's Go Hokies!) After the Journey of Hope I will be returning to Pittsburgh and look forward to working at The Design Alliance.

I have grown a lot over the past 6 years at Virginia Tech and love this school with such a passion that I can not even begin to describe it. I choose to come to Tech not because of Architecture, but because of the campus. It is one of the most beautiful places and I don't know how I am ever going to leave it. Thankfully Britt is coming here so I have a place to stay for the next 4 years.

I joined Pi Kappa Phi in the Fall of 2003 and it has been one of the best decision of my life. Beisdes all the friends I have made and the social events I have attended, Pi Kapp has taught me more about myself than anything else in college. I was a standards board member from 2004-2006 and have been an active part in our philanthropy Push America and have participated in Special Olympics Bowling, built wheelchair ramps for local families through one of Push America's events, AccessABILITY, and now the Journey of Hope. Our chapter has constantly been one of the best fraternities on our campus and in 2006 won the Kroeg award for best Pi Kapp chapter in the nation.

Thank you for taking interest in myself and my endevour and I truly appriciate all your support! I would not be able to do this without my family so a special thank you goes out to them.
